I'm in Maine now - for 6 weeks! Arrived yesterday afternoon. It's a new house for us this year - after 15 +/- years of renting the same place, that owner decided she wants to spend the summer here in Maine (jeesh, what nerve, right?), so we're renting just 1/4 mile up the road. Lovely old farmhouse on 6+ acres of land. It's much quieter than the other house, which is at a busy intersection. There are wood thrushes singing in the woods, and blueberries ripening on the bush, and lots of Asian objects (primarily Thai?) decorating the house. I love it.

Just finished this handspun. It's 348 yards of a 2-ply fingering weight, spun from Malabrigo Nube merino in the Piedras color:

Now I'm on to spinning some Targhee from Spunky Eclectic. Aiming for a Navajo 3-ply.
